Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: April 28, 2026

Our Commitment

Quarlo Software LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

As a platform serving higher education institutions, we recognize our responsibility to provide an inclusive experience for all students, regardless of ability.

Conformance Status

Target Standard: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA

Quarlo is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

We are actively working to achieve full conformance and regularly test our platform for accessibility issues.

ADA Title II Final Rule (April 2024). The U.S. Department of Justice's 2024 final rule under Title II of the ADA requires public entities, including state and local government agencies and many public colleges and universities, to make their web content and mobile apps WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformant on a tiered schedule (April 24, 2026 for large public entities; April 26, 2027 for smaller public entities). Quarlo is aware of these deadlines and prioritizes remediation work in support of partner institutions subject to the rule.

VPAT / Accessibility Conformance Report

A Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT 2.5) / Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) is available on request to partner institutions and prospective customers. The current VPAT is updated at least annually and on major product milestones.

To request the current VPAT/ACR, contact support@quarlo.co with the subject line "VPAT Request" and include the requesting institution's name.

Remediation Roadmap

Quarlo prioritizes accessibility remediation alongside ongoing product development. The current remediation focus areas are:

  • Heading and landmark structure in AI-generated prep content, so screen-reader users can navigate generated sections consistently.
  • Color contrast audit across the design system (Avantt) to confirm all text and interactive elements meet the 4.5:1 / 3:1 ratios.
  • Keyboard navigation in the Job Tracker, prep view, and practice recorder, including focus traps in modals and visible focus rings.
  • Form-error announcements using ARIA live regions on signup, login, and prep-creation forms.
  • Alt-text and labels for all images, icons-only buttons, and custom controls.

Confirmed accessibility barriers reported by users or institutional partners are triaged within 5 business days and remediated as quickly as feasible. Major remediation items are tracked publicly in the VPAT/ACR delivered to partner institutions.
